Venue – Southville Centre
2:00 PM until 6:30 PM
Situated south of the river, we’ll be rounding off the weekend with a tea dance at the Southville Centre. The sky-lit hall within this Grade II listed Victorian building provides a bright, spacious setting in a friendly neighbourhood.
If you’re missing the street art stylings of Stokes Croft, (where Hamilton House is based), the Southville centre is only a brief walk from North Street, host to the annual Upfest Street Art Festival. While the festival is on hiatus for 2019, much of the artwork from the 2018 festival still adorns buildings in the area, and new stunning work has been going up even without the organisation of the festival, so is worth sightseeing before the dance.
Rest assured, once at the Southville Centre there will be plenty of cake and nibbles to keep your shagging feet shuffling!
